Unless you want a record breaking overclock? Go with a cheaper mid-level board like the Asrock Extreme3, PZ77V-LK, or GA-Z77-DH3 if you want an i5-3570K, or a nice H77 board if you won't overclock at all.

Most 3570-3770 oc the same its the temp that limits your oc.
If you want the highest oc your forced to use a good custom water setup.

Hard to keep up, but it is not a big jump to Haswell, and it has USB 3.0 issues. The Ivy will be relevant for several years.

i have read for Haswell but not understand all u helped me a lot and i went all and will finish it all with ur performances the coller all things exept the gpu. but i dont understand well the onboard graphics from haswell when it doesent support the gpu i what the diferent from ivy. i have 7970 and the cpu doesnt support the gpu right?

Asus. Have used Asus boards for years and never any problems. If money is not an issue, go with Asus.

I'm not understanding your question, but I'll do my best to explain a bunch of things.

Haswell is the chip after Ivy Bridge. They are not compatible. We (enthusiasts) anticipate Haswell to improve minimally on the CPU's raw computing ability per clock, but Haswell should require less watts of power. The other improvement we expect to see is in Haswell's built-in GPU (called the iGPU). The iGPU will be "good enough" to play games at medium/low effectively.

You, however, plan to a a dedicated graphics card--a dGPU (the AMD Radeon 7970). That means Haswell's iGPU inprovements are pointless for you.

That means, overall, Haswell isn't a big improvement for overclocking enthusiasts with dedicated graphics cards on the desktop. Buying into Ivy Bridge now won't hurt.

this was what i asked it means that i dont need the iGpu if i have amd 7970 right. yes i have now asus MVF it arives for some days but i was disapointet from the z87 i could wait bit i understant it wont be matter from the diference .

There will always be some thing better then the best you bought.
Since Intels main focus is into low power there wont be that much to choose from for the hungry desktop users.
Infact the sb and Ib will be last fast cheap cpu.
Only when intel X99 gets released will you see good power but at a much higher cost.
Most people wont even spend the extra money for a 3770k chip and claim there is no difference between the 3570s.

mvf and for now just with one 7970 and 16g ram and i7 3770k i think its enough for gaming and for my next money i go with plus one 7970. this will keep me playing all games unt today right?
