When you guys are talking about OVP, you mean that there's a hard cap to the voltage allowed by the board right?
Oh I did not know that. I will stop crying about my lack of voltage control now.Yes. At anything over 1.225v the card throttles itself.
Where can i get the best version of Asus tweak? She's idling at 26C but for some reason the Asus voltage tweak doesn't have the "Extended ranges" option.

Some questions. For the VRM's. Do i use just glue and heatsink or thermal pad and heatsink?
Don what are your temps like with this cooler again?
Yes. At anything over 1.225v the card throttles itself. There's a guy over at HWbot that has an unlocked. Bios but I can't even join to ask if I could get it.
How is the throttling implemented? Any more details on what is meant by throttling itself?
There must be only so much a big heatsink can do with our cards. I hit a max of 48C after an afternoon of gaming and benchmarking. I'm only at 1200mhz on the core but our voltage is the same.53C while bemchamrking at 1230 core and 1.225v

What are you running your memory at? I'm finding 5400mhz is the best.
So what are you doing to break the 1200mhz barrier on the core? I'm stuck. We're both at the same voltage. Perhaps you got lucky and just got a better core.5500. I played with the power settings and 1250 is back

That's what's happening to me as well.I get no image degradation at 1250 core. Just hard freezes of the drivers.
