I think you should have named it "David", since David slew Goliath. Goliath being something with many more transistors and a higher price tag :whiste:

Yeah 1230mhz is all I can hit with mine as well, and I'm not sure it's 100% stable so I backed down to 1200. I'm on 1.225v as well.

When you guys are talking about OVP, you mean that there's a hard cap to the voltage allowed by the board right?

Yes. At anything over 1.225v the card throttles itself. There's a guy over at HWbot that has an unlocked. Bios but I can't even join to ask if I could get it.

Where can i get the best version of Asus tweak? She's idling at 26C but for some reason the Asus voltage tweak doesn't have the "Extended ranges" option.

Some questions. For the VRM's. Do i use just glue and heatsink or thermal pad and heatsink?

Careful, that thing looks like it could take an arm off if you aren't careful around it when it is running.

How is the throttling implemented? Any more details on what is meant by throttling itself?

53C while bemchamrking at 1230 core and 1.225v
There must be only so much a big heatsink can do with our cards. I hit a max of 48C after an afternoon of gaming and benchmarking. I'm only at 1200mhz on the core but our voltage is the same.

What are you running your memory at? I'm finding 5400mhz is the best.

So what are you doing to break the 1200mhz barrier on the core? I'm stuck. We're both at the same voltage. Perhaps you got lucky and just got a better core.

I get no image degradation at 1250 core. Just hard freezes of the drivers.

3dmark takes too long to go through the paces. Crysis is nice and quick if you set it to only do a single run. Heaven is ok as well.

I wish I knew how to benchmark BF3.
