I am on my second A8N32 SLI Deluxe and after a a few games of BF2, maxed out with 4x AA at 1600x1200, it seemed fine, until............
it began to do the exact same thing as lst time I sent my mobo back.
Last time I had gotten my board back, it had been repaired, and it was working well, except it did this, as soon as BF2 loaded up to 14% it would crash or lock up the PC.
I thought that they just had fixed what ever was wrong with the board and sent it back. When it did this in the game BTW, it killed my 7800GTX.
Now a couple weeks later I have a replcaement 7800GTX and a replacement motherboard.
But last night, as I said at first it seemd fine, until it did the game lock up.
Now this is the part I really hope I can get you guys to respond to, I dont seem to have much luck with advice lately, I think it must be the way I word my questions.
Do you think, as I am starting to now, thats its the PSU? At these settings a game MUST be using my voltage, in fact Im sure of it. The PSU is beefy enough, I think, but its possible it gotten messed up (I guess it is) when my whole PC seems to go bad at the same time.
The reason Im not 100% on these issues it that most parts seemed fine at first.
Also this was all working fine for the first little while I put it together last night. And its also all fine with the same hardware, only using a A8NSLI Premium instead.
