Wow. The US prices are WAY too high. Some store are really taking a huge markup on that board. In Canada, you pay around 200 USD and it still hurt when I passed my order lol....
 
I was able to score one from newegg when the price was 259. Still alil high i know, but I was waiting long enough to get it from a very reputable supplier. I have everything I wanted .. except 2 6800GT's which i plan on getting from Chumbo. I wish I had ordered one when they had it in stock...now they say they wont have any in for 2 - 3 weeks =T

Sux...so i ordered 1 6600GT which will hold me off until 6800GT's are available
 
Chumbo sent me an email saying they will be in stock on the 1st of January. Thats what I recieved. I deleted the email or else I would post it on here haha.
 
Anyone know how important it is to get RAM from ASUS's qualified Vendor List, looks like the Corsair value select RAM I just paid $140 for i have to have only 1 or 4 sticks, I have 2.

Well that was about a week ago I sent that email. I don't want to get hopes up though just from an email so I would just go by your phone convo because that was probably more recent. lol

well I go Asus.com and the Corsair Value Select is only good in A, one module, or C, 4 modules in all the slots.

That not make sense to me though, how could it support 4 slots and not 2, so can I use two sticks and not go dual RAM? I can't afford to replace this brand new memory.

Its a reliable zseller....I bought from them vid card, and a duron for my sister. Its pricey tough....but at least is an option....only three were in stock....now only two (got mine ordered already )

seems like on the comp-u-plus.. its 209 + 14.95 shipping (cheapest on their site)


I think im still gonna hold it out until chumbo gets their a8n's in stock for 201.99 with free shipping 🙂
 
Yeah, Pricegrabber was reporting $196 + shipping, but it was either changed or it was a mistake. There is a place called Axent Micro which has it for $178 + shipping, but it's not in stock.
