Basically this seller "bestprices2k5" is passing off bootlegs as Russian imports.

Over 300 games sold since June 05 and they were ALL bootlegs. I bought Psychonauts off him for $14 shipped, and I wouldn't have ever even noticed it was a bootleg copy if I hadn't tried to patch the game, which resulted in an error message saying Psychonauts was not installed.
WTF says me, and I do some snooping around in the files on my HD and on the CDs. Turns out Psychonauts comes on 5 CD-ROMs, the game I received came on 2. The Setup file on the CD is a grand total of 297KB and there's a setup-1 BIN file totaling 657MB. Screen
But it get's better, in the Psychonauts program files folder, there's a file called "hlm-intro" which opens a video clip that actually gives credit to the guy that cracked the game RIGHT IN the fvcking folder. Screen
And the CDs I was sent have absolutely no protection whatsoever. I burned a copy of the game using the Windows XP wizard, and it installs without a hitch.
He's only been accused of selling bootlegs once which resulted in the buyer withdrawing his negative feedback? I'd like to know the story behind that one. It's easy not to notice cause the majority of games he sells are single player games. I wouldn't have even been able to tell if I hadn't seen everything described above. He's also got a little disclaimer thing going on about there being no updates and no online play with "these versions". Right, cause fvcking Russians don't believe in updates and mulitplayer? I didn't even notice that line when I bought the game to be honest.
I wanna run this guy into the fvcking ground, it pisses me the fvck off that he's making money at the cost of some media and packaging materials off the hardwork of the developers of all these games. And he's doing it right under Ebay's nose cause most people just don't know what they're buying from this fvckface.
I've gotta wait till August 6th to file a dispute with Ebay. I don't just want my money back I wanna see this guy banned. You guys think I have enough evidence to do so? It'd be nice to see his ass get sued by the numerous companies he's fvcking over too.
