I wonder if they are changing diet cherry pepsi. That one is my favorite. You should also try out diet Barqs.

The change only applies to the U.S. market and will affect all varieties of Diet Pepsi, such as Caffeine Free Diet Pepsi and Wild Cherry Diet Pepsi. It will not apply to other PepsiCo drinks, such as Diet Mountain Dew.

In 2006 Diet Mountain Dew was reformulated with a new "Tuned Up Taste", using a blend of sucralose, aspartame, and acesulfame potassium as sweeteners. The previous formulation was sweetened exclusively with aspartame.

I've been drinking diet pepsi, diet cherry pepsi, and diet mt. dew lately.

They taste fine to me. sightly different than regular but not much, not sure if I have the new formula yet or not. i haven't tasted a difference if I have.

I want to LOL @ you all for drinking soft drinks, but I smoke cigars,.. so, drink up and enjoy fellas!!

aspartame is horrible as well. How could this be worse?

wait, why are you drinking soda? I thought that was for children?

:hmm:

Dt. Mt. Dew has open arms, waiting to please you.

Diet Dr. Pepper >>>>> other diet drinks

Diet A&W > *

What the fuck is wrong with you folks? If I were to rank the absolute worst diet drinks I've had... it'd be:

1. Diet root beer (they all suck, every one I've tried)
2. Diet Dr. Pepper (love regular Dr. Pepper, diet is terrible)
3. Diet Mtn Dew (drinkable, but a very far cry from the good stuff)

If I'm drinking a diet drink it's usually coke zero or pepsi max (even though I don't really like pepsi, max is quite a bit better IMO)

Why is it that the only people you see drinking diet drinks are fat people. Skinny people drink regular drinks....

I have never been able to drink a diet drink, none of them.....

Can't stand a 'lite' beer either, resembles cold piss... but love a good craft brew.

Diet soda is just nasty. I used to be able to drink it when it had saccharine (grudgingly when I was trying to lose weight), but not since.

The problem is that sucralose has a vile aftertaste, which hangs around for a long time after each sip.

I believe you have mutant taste buds (or you're mistakenly referring to stevia, which has an after taste similar to saccharin.)

Pepsi Next, with sucralose AND sugar, is actually very good imo.

(p.s. bitterness is one taste that people can significantly differ experiences with, some tasting certain bitter foods, while others' palates not tasting the same bitterness at all or only slightly.)

Diet fizzy drinks are just terrible.

As far as carbonated sugar-water goes, I just drink Dr. Pepper. I'd kill for A&W root beer, but that stuff goes for £1.50 a can.

Sucralose can cause intestinal issues with some people and I had strange abdominal pains for years until I finally realized it was the sucralose and eliminated it from my diet.

Do not want.

You never know one mans intestinal intolerance of a chloro-carbon is another mans water and mystery diseases.

I like sucralose. I use liquid sucralose when I want sweets. stevia has a bitter aftertaste to me. i like coke zero much better than diet too.

My wife's doctor once told her not that she should do either one, but it would be better to be a smoker than to regularly consume artificial sweeteners. Now that was shocking.

My mom drank diet soda like it was going out of style. She died at 63. That combined with some in-depth reading was enough correlation for me to decide it wasn't worth it. Besides, it tastes like shit compared to the real thing.

Some doctors like to say shocking things. Doesn't make it true.

I've always thought diet anything was undrinkable myself.

Even if I avoid the regular flavors a lot these days, about the only thing I drink these days is Ginger Ale, as far as carbonated things.

I haven't had a soda in more than two years. Only water, black coffee, occasionally some herbal tea now.

If you're not just looking for a way to ingest caffeine, try caffeine-free diet colas. They're much better tasting. Caffeine itself is bitter has an aftertaste of its own.
