If she doesn't have a Valentine, she'll be happy to have someone who wants to spend time with her. Usually single people get bitter on that day, but those who have dates don't. I say go for it.

FINALLY, someone that gets it. a lot of women hate the idea of not having a valentine. hopefully yours hates it more than she does the idea of going out with you. if so, you're in luck. if not, you would never get any from her.

entonces: valentine's day is one of the best chances men have for asking women on dates. a woman would much rather have a crappy valentine's date than none at all. think about it.

i dunno, they're a little green this time of year... i would put a little more fertilizer on them and wait 2 months.

I say next week. I know of a good view women looking for a disposable boyfriend this valentines day just to look good and boost their self esteem. Remember that its the women who make a big deal out of this week

Eh, I say wait til next week so you don't put extra pressure on her.

can't you kill two birds with one stone if you do that? you can celebrate valentines and anniversary at the same time if you two go on for further than a year...😀

Oh; VALENTINE'S DAY. Nooooooooo, no, no! Dont' do that. Then you have to buy a present/spend money. Wait until the following weekend. Don't worry, John; somewhere out there, there's a female that will actually touch your thingee. Maybe even twice if you spend money.

Yeah, nice edit there. Reading a post (particularly the first sentence) can always be a good thing to do before replying. As for your last sentence, I know there are girls out there, I have had girlfriends in the past. But, I guess you're just so much more experienced and knowledable since you're a couple years older and have probably had a few more girlfriends. Maybe one day one of them will get you to grow up.

Ok, first off, I'm not just trying to "get some" from her, you can call me pathetic or whatever but I think otherwise. I like her, she's sweet, intelligent and nice, and I'd like to get to know her better. Second, your post is a summary of why I will NOT be asking her out this weekend.

Yes! I have to agree here. Girls will jump at the idea of getting a date on Valentines day! She will just be thrilled. They would just love to brag to their girlfriend's they went on a date on that day. There is no possible way she would say no, (unless of course she already has a date) but on this day your chances go -up- that she will say 'yes'.

Go for it!. Don't wait till next weekend, she might still be all bitter about 'where were you last weekend, huh?!'

Unfortunately some girls do say no 🙁

just do it, give her a date to remember don't forget to give her a Kiss when the Time is right,, what to do next is up to her..
oh, Flowers work pretty well, not sure about chocolate.

You just do it, young man!

It really doesn't matter what day. Good luck getting out to a full-service restaurant tonight though. Try a neighborhood cafe kind of place. Then a movie. Then a kiss. 😉

Honestly, you can be a d!ck.

Scott...I say go for it.

True, MikeD. JohnJohn's like 15 or 16, not 26. He doesn't necessarily want to get his willie wet tonight. Maybe later down the road if things go well, and he likes the girl, and she likes him, they'll be consummating a deal.

17. 😉

I had a great conversation with her today, but I didnt ask her out. Just seems like it might be weird. We have Monday off, so I'm thinking I might ask her out Sunday night.

Just found out today that the girl I liked had just up until recently liked me in return. What a sad day to be so heavy-hearted. 🙁
