I am Chinese-american, born in America so didn't have an accent problem. I remember the bullying began in middle school. Now I wasn't the typical asian kid, I mean I still wore glasses and got good grades, but my parents were very relaxed about my education, I wasn't small/skinny, played hockey from middle school through college (still playing in college).

Now this began happening in the Troy New York Public school system, and all my bullies were African-American. None of the white or latino kids ever bullied me. One day in freshman year of High School, I just got sick of it. For a class presentation research paper, my topic was "The Inferiority of Black People".

I presented and discussed various studies that showed almost conclusive evidence that blacks had low IQ scores regardless of environment/upbringing/nutrition. I showed that blacks had naturally higher testosterone, causing them to be more law-breaking and violent (I further backed it up also with local jail statistics showing blacks represented 70+ % of our local prison population, whereas they only accounted for 15% of the total areas population).

I showed how black babies were more closely related to chimpanzee babies, based on their more developed amniotic fluid and stronger bones at birth relative to white and asian babies. Also, the black babies always sat, crawled, talked, and walked before white and asian babies, and studies showed that the later the development of babies the higher the IQ. Since I got called four-eyes, I also addressed how nearsighted people usually wore glasses and that nearsightedness is related to higher intelligence. The people who wore glasses in that class were very happy to hear this!

Now there were 5 black kids in that class that always sat together and bullied me since middle school. After my presentation they were silent with their heads hanging in shame, and classmates were nervously glancing at them. Glad to say they never bullied me again. I did cause quite a stir amongst the teaching staff though, and had to visit the principals office, but that's another story. Thanks to these bullies I became quite popular through high school.

At UT Austin, we occasionally got alerts from the campus police department about a recent robbery. I want to say that almost every single robbery victim during my 4 years was Asian.

For a year, the desktop background on the computers in the EE labs was a notice from campus PD telling Asian students to be extra careful at night because Asians were being targeted.

Found a random email from UT PD (there was a string of robberies within a short period of time when this was sent):

Nope, I wasn't bullied in school at all, but there are always some dumbass kids/teens of a certain ethnic group (won't say who) not bothering with academics and after some years later one can see them stuck at dead-end jobs at fast food joints. Not surprisingly these are the same people who produces tons of of the same kids and expect the rest of us to provide for their welfare.

I know it's a stereotype, but Asians are often book smart and at least a little nerdy. I would say it's the standard of bullies picking on nerds, and a lot of Asians just happen to fall into that demographic.

Pretty standard correlation vs. causation error reached by whoever wrote the article or did the research.

We had one Asian (Korean) kid in our high school and she was pretty popular. Smart, hot, very funny, I think she even won Homecoming queen. And that's in one of the most rural parts of Tennessee. She wasn't even born in the US, her mother married a local guy who was stationed in Seoul and he brought them both back with him.

Yep, fat people are usually quite strong. Being fat is like carrying around a 50lb backpack plus ankle and wrist weights. They move slow, but a fat fist to your face has a lot of momentum.

The paper blew my mind. I was always taught in school that race was just skin color, but apparently whites and asians also have 4% of their nuclear genes from Neanderthals. I guess hybrid vigor applies here?

Extensive testing of black, Mexican-American, and other minority-group school children. The results led to distinguish between two separate types of learning ability. Level I, or associative learning, may be defined as retention of input and rote memorization of simple facts and skills. Level II, or conceptual learning, is roughly equivalent to the ability to manipulate and transform inputs, that is, the ability to solve problems.
