but my curiousity is pushing me to post

wtf is he smoking?

"The objective of securing the safety of Americans from crime and terror has been achieved."

Now all we need is Condi Rice to resign

Rumsfeld and Powell can stay

I'm sorry, but Powell is gone. He's tired of being Bush's whipping boy.

Powell will go home when Alma tells him to. I really like Mr. Powell, he does what Alma tells him to.
🙂

P.S. I am glad that Ashcroft is gone.. there simply is no room for a God Fearing man anywhere near our laws! 😉

He can now descend back into the depths of hell 😀

That's where he has been working. Bust your butt for $150K a year? No way.:disgust:

I know plenty of people that would accept a 'bust your butt' job for 150K a year.

You people DO realize that he's doing this to further his music career...

:music: Let the EAAAAGGLEES SOAAAAR! :music:

was this the guy behind the patriot act?

Yup, hence the universal hatred of the man.

Patriot Act, in its entirety, was his baby.

He is also a devout Pentacostal, among other things believing that dancing (for example) is a very serious sin, as well as smoking or drinking alcohol. You'll also recall this is the man who ordered the 'Spirit of Justice' statue in the Great Hall of the Department of Justice to be 'covered up' as it was 'indecent'. (You know the statue - lady wearing a toga while blindfolded holding the scales of justice? Well, apparently, one breast is exposed. SIN!!! SIN!!!!!)

He should never have been appointed to a position of such power - a man who has serious problems seperating his religious views and political position is a danger to the direction of this country.

And he's leaving! Good news to all!

Rumsfeld will stay for at least ~ 1 more year with the war and all

there are rumors Rice will leave , but that will probably be next year after the inaugration/after the Iraq elections

bye bye "patritot" act....

The patriot act may get revised, but it isn't going away no matter who is appointed attorney general.

Just curious, what would the Attorney General do about a law? I would think the Congress/Supreme Court would deal with the removal of it.

I must be missing something.
