Let's hope. Great step in the right direction. Let's see if we can get rid of Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz too.

It is a shame that Powell seems to be on his way out. He's the closest thing they have to a conscience. And a deep thinker.

He's an Uncle Tom. The Admin writes the script and he puts his credibility on the line by rehearsing it.

Is he preparing for appointment to the supreme court?

Stranger things have happened.

I would be hard-pressed to think of a worse person to have as AG, so, if this is true, it's pretty much a good thing by definition IMO.

As if it could ever get through the nomination process...

Didnt you guys read the whole patriot act?

Under section 4982 of the patriot act it says "anyone who opposes President Bush's Supreme Court Nominees will be held indefinetly without charges and without the right to contact a lawyer."

so im pretty sure nobody has the balls to deny ashcroft the seat after Renhquist croaks.

j/k j/k 🙂

You are a piece of crap and not worthy of being pissed on by someone like Colin Powell. Your attitude is THE reason that the african-american community is still in the state it is. Continuing to buy into the victim mentality and villifying and attacking any african-american who is rich, powerful, or successful is not going to help your cause.
