<< Clinton gave Palestine 90% of what they wanted in a treaty and they turned it down.

What is your answer to that?
>>

Simple. The peace process is a lot cause. Cut off all foreign aid and weapons transfers to Israel and the entire Arab world and let the situation sort itself out. They're going to be fighting anyway, may as well not be on my (taxpayer) dime.

Well I sympathize with the Israelis. But I do sometimes believe that what the palestinians are going through cannot be pleasant atall. If this matter is left to itself this is never going to go away, worse it will just escalate and when we have suicide bombers bombing some other tower in US we will have ourself atleast morally to blame. Instead we should use our economic and military and political might and influence with both Israelis and the arabs to just force a settlement. Its not going to be perfect. and neither side is going to be entirely happy, but maybe in a few decades children will not grow up in a culture of hate and hopefully this cycle of violence might end. I wonder what u guys think about it?

Someone should start a thread about the Israeli/Palestinian situation. I don't think anyone's done that before.

Man the level of immaturity in this thread is unbelievable. Listing this guy's phone number, calling him all sorts of names.

I don't expect ordinary Americans who were born and raised in this country to understand my viewpoint. They have no memories of a childhood marred by oppression and scenes of occupation.

One would hope that we could at least be respectful of the fact that other people experience different things in life. You cannot judge a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.

Violently and righteously condemning terrorism, then turning around and unleashing vicious words on people with different perspectives. Me thinks the only reason you guys aren't out there doing stupid crap like throwing rocks at the police and running into a crowd of people with a satchel charge is because you're so spoiled you'll never have to. But it can be seen pretty clearly that the destructive intentions and the general disregard for people who are different is there.

<< "Where are you from?" was a question I found hard to answer. It still is. >>

So if he runs into someone at the store and they ask.. he is going to say the united states? -haha... MORON. looks as if he is just trying to provoke people with this.. and provoke people he has.. what a freaking DIPSH1T.. i say we should boot him before he can complain one second more.. he'd be happier that way anyways..
