As far as games go, is The Sims 2 pretty advanced as far as AI & complexity goes?

I just got the game and it's awesome. NFS4, those stories had me LOL. The only problem I have is that my Sim is getting old and he is going to be an elder soon. Is there a way to not make the sims age so fast?

With games like Doom 3, it's pretty much run and gun, but this is just so immersing that I just lose myself in it and the time just flies:eek:

you'd think you know what forum this belongs in by now

I played the game for an hour at Karsten's last weekend but I felt it was more work than fun!

Perhaps with more time with the game I'd get use to it.
