As Bush Prepares for War

Abortion rights groups sharply criticized the president.

Susanne Martinez, vice president of public policy for Planned Parenthood, said the timing of the announcement showed that the Bush administration "has made it clear they'd like the law overturned in the U.S."

"This administration for two years has waged a war against women," she said in a telephone interview. "He has tried to elevate the rights of the fetus above the rights of women, and that's a tragedy. We should have the right to kill, I mean abort, a fetus anytime during pregnancy that we chose"

Ok...so I added the last sentence but that's pretty much what she was saying...

I thought it was a Supreme Court decision...not a law. Only congress can make laws.

as soon as he gets the chance to appoint a couple new Supreme justices, roe v wade will be overturned.

One side note the stock value of "Acme Hangers" tripled today on the news of President Bushes Proclamation

Finally an investment that is paying off.

That would probably result in state legislatures creating their own abortion laws (as many have already done).

In a related news conference Bush stated that plans to repeal the 19th amendment were going well and the House should be able to vote on it sometime in the very near future. Bush is quoted as saying "I'm sick and tired of all these women turning out at the ballot box, they'll do what we tell 'em to do and they'll like it".

Thats right, and furthermore who needs the first amendment either.

You are one sick pup.😛

I like the caption below his picture.

Bush: "Every child is a priority and a blessing.*"

* Unless it's your son between the ages of 18 and 25.

😛

Ignorance is bliss. The 18 - 25 year old sons got to choose. The dead babies didn't.
That's why you kill that bloody little wankers when they are just fetuses🙂🙂

Just like all the choice the people of Iraq are going to have when the bombs start falling.

So abortion is the same as the right to vote?

Abortion is more akin to the right to do drugs. Women and liberals complain that it's their body and they should have the right to abort a fetus anytime they want. But many of the same people argue that when a person wants to do drugs, it's not their body to do with it what they will.

Hooray for double standards! Long live hypocrisy!

So when is the draft coming?

Who said anything about a draft, fool? What age do you think most of the enlisted men who die in combat are?

What makes you think it would be men age 18-25? Even in Vietnam when we had the draft and allowed such young people to go the average age of someone killed was 22.8.

My whole point is that people in the military are there by CHOICE. You cannot blame someone's death on being forced to Iraq when there is no draft.

Few people in the world make me truly angry. You are one of those few that do...your blind allegiance to far left liberal/socialist ideals and your hatred for a man just because he is a Republican make me sick. You are a perfect example of party line stupidity. Maybe I should rethink my beliefs on abortion if banning it would mean that more people like you would be born.

You CAN blame their death on the president who sends troops around the world for no good reason.

Maybe nobody told you this little secret, but Irak is not a democracy... look up that word if you still don't get it...

Oh good grief. If taking out thugs who funnel money to terroists, allow them to use their country for training, who are developing WMD, and who would rather kill their own people than let them vote is wrong.......then baby....I don't wanna be right.
