Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh, I can't make up my mind on which vehicle to get.

If you're lookin for a status symbol to differentiate yourself, the FX is the way to do it. It's the most unique of the cars you've listed both in styling and in numbers (at least for the time being) and in person, it is an awesome looking car.

Though if status is less important to you, then go with the S60R...it does look like just another bland Volvo on the road, but you can't argue with 300 horses.

Of the vehicles you mentioned, I'd go with the Infiniti.

Sure, BMW makes great cars that are the 'ultimate driving machine', but that is if its not in the shop. I've been lucky with the X5, but off the top of my head, of 8 or so friends that drive Bimmers, not one of them has been as lucky as I. Maybe it's just the three series and their variants that have been having problems. Of course, if you don't plan on driving it much, then it won't matter much to you when the Bimmer's in the shop...

Get the volvo!

It's something very unique, while not everybody will have a clue what it is the people that know cars will realize what's under the hood

Ahh, tough decision. YOu've have to pick two cars that I love - the Volvo R and the FX. Flip a coin 😉

I agree, tough call. The FX will stand out more and provide more utility, while the S60-R will have better all-out performance. I really don't like the looks of the Endeavor, so that would not be a consideration for me.

I'd probably go with the FX on paper, but I haven't driven both so I can't say for sure. 🙂

Looking at these specs, and considering that I'm considering the R version of the s60, it's amazing how much it stacks up against the BMW 5-series. Could it be more bang for the buck?

I guess my question is: Why does edmunds.com consider the s60r a compact car while MSN considers it midsize? And they both consider the 5-series midsize.
