There have been airplane hijackings where innocent people didn't get killed (albeit not recently) and we had no problem using the label terrorists in those cases. /shrug

Kinda funny, terror is only used once in that article in reference to the Sept 11th attacks, all the other incidents they are called "hijackers" /Shrug

Hey, call hijackers what you want but in at least one listed case they used a the threat of violence to achieve a political goal and in some peoples' opinion that is terrorism.

If you differ because for some political viewpoint you want to refrain from calling the Y'allHadists terrorist... ok free speach and all. For some reason I think if Black Lives Matter supporters occupied a federally owned building with weapons talking heads on cable shows would call them terrorists.

/shrug

Actually my stance is I don't give a shit what they are called, you SJW's are the ones who are living in the words and giving them too much weight.

Crime is crime and shitheads are shitheads to me, I just think it's stupid and a waste of time for you to get caught in the language that amounts to nothing.

The Oklahoma bombing was also referred to as the biggest TERRORIST attack on US soil until Sept 11 and so you don't forget it was done by a WHITE guy since that seems to be your trigger point.

Better get mad about it.
Let me guess, you are one of those scrubs that suffers from e-mail rage cause you draw an image that only your poor imagination can support and apply that to real life?

Can't imagine people like that being able to hold jobs.

If it weren't the dead ass of winter, I'd have half a mind to set up a Taunting Camp just to point and laugh at them while wafting the delicious fumes of barbecue and blasting Justin Bieber music in their direction. Set up a Go Fund Me for taunting supplies and watch those donations roll in.

I think the soundtrack of Frozen on continuous loop would be mo better.

I can at least understand when it's the federal government taking dude's cattle, even if I think dude is legally wrong. When they take a federal building - even an unoccupied federal outbuilding - with guns, then even if they aren't terrorists, they should be addressed using the means they deemed appropriate. At that point it's a mere technicality.

Just wondering if anyone ever bothered to look into the real reasons this happened?

This interview with a former BLM worker is also interesting, regarding big business influencing Fed policy in the area :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNGJXDuLkdI

I don't know the whole story yet but I can tell from the posts no one here knows anything, just a bunch of bad assumptions.

BLM kicked the ranchers off the land, which they have had grazing rights to for 150 years. Supposedly it was to save some endangered turtles. Now there are too many turtles and the BLM kills the turtles. It was total bullshit, the video from the BLM whistleblower also mentions that turtles had nothing to do with the real reasons these people lost their ranches. The move has sent around 100 ranchers bankrupt.

Meanwhile Harry Reid owns property in the area, right next to the Bundy ranch.

This land was very nearly part of a huge deal to have a Chinese company build a massive solar power array. The deal fell through in 2013, but apparently some highways had been built in the area - in the middle of the desert - preparing a business corridor.

This is something a real investigative journalist should look into.

BUSTED: HARRY REID OWNS 93 ACRES NEXT TO BUNDY RANCH

Laughlin solar project falls through

But it's so much easier just to make assumptions based on the title, crack a joke, make some hyperbolic references and move on ;)

I still think it'd be more fun just to shoot them.

The Vault Dweller would just shoot them. Have video games taught us nothing? ;)

As a vault Dweller, I would totally shoot them. And I wouldn't even take the time to know them. I'd sneak up on those fuckers from 300 feet out, scan the compound and take out those jerks in the guard tower as soon as their heads pop up.

Or just Fatman the whole place and keep walking.

I call anyone who occupies a building that doesn't belong to them, while carrying firearms and say that they will respond with force if efforts are taken to remove them, terrorists... Along with hijackers, suicide bombers, and mass murderers.

Your un-ironic use of the word trigger is pathetic, just my opinion /shrug.

This is why I get my news from AP News and BBC News apps. Any other source is treated with more skepticism until I can verify what they state as facts with other sources.

Why are you playing the SJW card?

It's really not applicable here and makes you look foolish.

Those types always get their weekly talking points mixed up and have to go back to consult the echo sphere.

Which is bizarre, because there's only ever ~3 talking points over a 2-3 week period.

The SJW thing has been going strong for a nearly a year, though.

If it were just that then I would agree with you 100%, but with your references to BLM and only minority comparisons of who you think only gets tagged as 'terrorist' it carries a white guilt problem with it too.

'trigger'

anything, as an act or event, that serves as a stimulus and initiates or precipitates a reaction or series of reactions.

He thinks you're angry because you don't have time to occupy empty buildings in the arse end of nowhere for no good reason whilst waving guns and copies of the constitution around.

Or something.

To be honest I wasn't paying a lot of attention.

Oklahoma shut down his white people don't get called terrorists argument pretty fast didn't it? We shouldn't have to hear that load of bullshit for the rest of the thread.
