Good catch! With neo-nazi Ritzheimer and this guy there there's no doubt that the God-loving devout Mormon Ammon Bundy has wrapped his arms around white supremacists.

The LDS church has officially condemned the Bundy occupation: http://www.mormonnewsroom.org/article/church-responds-to-inquiries-regarding-oregon-armed-occupation

"While the disagreement occurring in Oregon about the use of federal lands is not a Church matter, Church leaders strongly condemn the armed seizure of the facility and are deeply troubled by the reports that those who have seized the facility suggest that they are doing so based on scriptural principles. This armed occupation can in no way be justified on a scriptural basis. We are privileged to live in a nation where conflicts with government or private groups can — and should — be settled using peaceful means, according to the laws of the land."

I found this posted by someone and it sounds like the militia is preparing to escalate things...
and from that Twitter feed...

I really hope these idiots don't go full metal stupid and if they choose to do so I hope the law deals with them swiftly and effectively.

If they do, some of the blame lays squarely on the pacifist that are too afraid of another Waco to standoff with white guys with guns, so they continue to let crazy run unchecked. Really I think this starts with the complete back down in Nevada, then the complete lack of follow up after the fact to punish those the violated the law.

Although I also think it was wrong to ask BLM rangers to handle Nevada on their own, and they should've brought in LEO more equipped to handle the situation or the Nation Guard.

BTW: I am not pushing for another Waco, I would prefer a completely peaceful resolution to this, that see all those involved in prison. But I support not letting people run around trying to bring on an armed revolution, and if they choose to fire on LEO, then I am okay with LEO doing what is needed to neutralize the threat.

If I didn't live on the opposite end of the country I'd be trying to drive there and hold up a "Hi ATOT, these guys are nuts" sign for a pic :)

Just to do it.

I've finally figured out what I'm gonna send them for snacks. Anyone remember these?

Hahaha, before I clicked the link I thought "he's got to be talking about the sugar free death bears."

My wife wants to get some so she can prank her youngest sister, but sending them Oregon sounds like a far better use to me. She showed me another excerpt from the reviews of those things on Amazon, was laughing so hard I couldn't breathe.

The notion of these idiots grabbing a hand full or two just before addressing the press really brings a smile to my face. Like Soap from Lock, Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels said: shit'em right up. ;) Place probably has one bathroom and zero laundry facilities. It's beautiful.

The conspiracy theories from those supporting the Bundys are pure crazyville. There is no uranium under the refuge, the proposed Aurora mine is some 200 miles away. And no, letting ranchers free graze wherever they feel like will not bring down the price of beef.

Yes! Absolutely. We need somebody from our esteemed organization to represent at this debacle. It would be an epic moment for us. I could bask in the reflected glory. Do we have any volunteers?

If I could, I would. We should all descend on the BLM building with binoculars, straw hats, Ray-Bans and butterfly nets. And we should insist that the occupiers issue us day-passes so we can observe the Loons and Cuckoos amid all the other birds and waterfowl.

It would be funny if people started boycotting beef because of the ranchers.

The first time "ranchers" came to my attention in the political give-and-take occurred around 2004 during election season.

Bill Moyers was going cross-country, interviewing a range of people.

In So-Cal, we had the front-page news of the "downer-cow" scandal at a San Berdoo meat-packing plant. All sorts of USDA violations there, and possible health-hazards to consumers.

Two weeks into the "Downer-Cow" frenzy, Moyers interviewed a cattle-rancher somewhere near Amarillo, asking him about his major concerns going into the election.

"Well, for one thing, Ah think the gub-mint should stay out of my bid-nis."

What?! Mad Cow Disease?! We don' have no stinkeen Mad Cows! Whadda we need stinkeen Mad Cows for?! Stop snooping around our Mad Cows!

This is still going on? Where is Janet Reno when you need her?

I suspect things would change quickly if the Yeehawdis killed federal agents as in Waco. That's def the point of no return.

You're way up there in the buckshot24, John Connor zone to be honest.

Not much to LOL about on your part.

But have at it.
