You guys realize that dude is a satirist (troll) , correct?

You might dislike him for many reasons, but those aren't his actual opinions on the matter, and I have to chuckle at the folks on both sides of the divide who think they are.

Either way, its pointless and hes not funny.

There is no Batman game that is "adults only".

Arkham Asylum was rated "T for Teen". As were the subsequent two entries in the series. There is absolutely nothing in it content-wise that a 14 year old could not handle or would not encounter in most television aimed at that age demographic.

Only Arkham Knight was rated "M". And that means 17 and up.

Troll harder, kiddo.

This is actually why I don't play the batman games. I generally find superheroes really childish and batman in particular is. It's a grown man running around in a Halloween costume. Okay for the occasional movie but too much for a video game. Just too goofy.

LOL.

As if ~95% of video games aren't just as absurd for one reason or another. Furthermore, it's OK for an "occasional movie" but not for a game?

Either that or you saw what might be a troll thread and thought you'd try out a bit of that game yourself.

So what do you suggest? What is wrong on my end? Its a legit steam GOTY version, running with the specs below.

It is to me when you need to install directx from another game to get it working. Or run through hoops to disable vsync, then this crate problem etc. All within three days of playing. Okay maybe POS is not the best description but it wasted my time and gave me a week of headaches troubleshooting. Honestly if I cant find anything on AT/forums/google then I guess its time to give up. Its not like Steam customer support is ever of any help.

I'd suggest trying to turn PhysX on or off (opposite of what you currently have). It could just be a bug with visuals, and it could actually be there.

Why are people trolls for differing opinions? Like its stupid that "gamers" is now some weird right wing white male entitlement. When did that happen? Im a gamer but I dont care about any of that dumb shit.

Also batman should be for kids. I remember batman when I was 8 years old. Why is some 35 year old playing with batman still? Leave it for the kids. Play any of the other 95% of shitty games.

They're trolls for trolling. Look at their post. It's 100% contradictory and therefore hypocritical. Look at your recent posts, they're straight-up ignorant. Remembering a thing from when you were a kid permanently places it in the realm of child's play? What kind of backwards logic is that?

Have you read The Killing Joke? The Dark Knight Returns? Batman Year One? Any of Grant Morrison's work? I remember Terminator 2 from third grade. That's a child's movie? Robocop?

Not one of those stories are intended for children. The concept of Batman may appear childish at first blush, but your black and white dismissal of Batman anything based on the lone fact that you remember Batman from your childhood is ignorant, and counts as trolling in my book.

I remember cars from my childhood, is anyone driving a car just refusing to grow up?

P.S. I reported your man-baby post. If it's not a troll (and how sad that would be), it's literally insulting other members of the forum.

Batman, and comics in general hasn't really been for kids for a long time, at least since the 80's.

How is it being a baby? You're literally breaking forum rules. Why shouldn't I report it?

Thats part of the problem. Too many man-children thinking they have a gaming/nerd/comic book culture. When all they are doing is building virginity shrines and sitting in echo chambers.

They will sort it out, that's why I reported it. What rule? Seriously? You're insulting people on the forum. I already stated that.

PM deleted

So Batman is for man-babies, and we're refusing to grow up for enjoying a well-made game, and this how grown-ups react. Sounds legit. Not a troll at all.

Your memory is super-selective.

Its not true? IT is true. You take offense to me bringing it up because you dont want anything to interfere with that little gamer bubble you live in. Thats why you reported my posts. It had nothing to do with anything other then you are a sjw and took offense to words on the internet. Enjoy your life.

If you think playing quake 3 makes you more of an adult than playing Batman, you are just kidding yourself.

You've both said your peace, continuing this isn't going to make you look any better.

I never said I wasnt a gamer. My point was there are lots of games we can play as adults without resorting to strip mining children themes.

As an adult, you can play anything you darn well please. Being an adult you should be capable of understanding that others have different desires than you do. The idea that everyone must conform to ridged guidelines on what they do or play is a very adolescent view.
