Friends usually aren't the best type of people to go to w/ relationship problems. Well that's the case for me at least, because they always seem to take things to a bit of an extreme. I don't know whether they do it knowingly or if that's just the nature of close friends when it comes to their "Buddy" getting into trouble while in a relationship. You might need a confidant.. that is to say that somebody who isn't your friend (as in somebody you hang out w/ everyday) but somebody you can definitely trust w/ your secrets . Don't worry about what your friends said, personally , I dont' think that your gf getting a tattoo is that big of a deal. She's just trying to show you that she loves you... or maybe she's using it as a scapegoat to hook you into a marriage, either way, just pretend as if it has never happened... how was your relationship before this? Was it stable? Great? Fun? Or otherwise? If the complimentary of the latter, then you have nothing to worry about!

Besides, she can always get laser - it's nothing that's horrifically permanent anymore - not w/ today's technology
