The local Taco Bell never had chalupas....claimed they couldn't justify the cost of the frier. May the owner burn in Mexi-american hell. :disgust:
I can guarantee that they could justify the cost of that frier. They have to have some kind of frier as we fry our own chips, taco salad shells, cinammon twists, and pizza shells. I know that we can order prefried chips, but I don't think we can order the rest of the fried items in that list, and the last frier we bought was under a $1000, so it is not that big of a purchase for the store, and they would sell more chalupas than they would believe if they carried them.
Also, for any who may care, some of the Taco Bells are getting the cheesy bean and rice burrito back, it just won't be at the 99 cent price, probably around $1.49 or so. The store I am a shift manager at is getting a 99 cent menu here shortly and we will be adding fried apple pies and fried potato slices to the menu.
Well, I am fixing to have to head into work, and be stuck there till around 1 AM,
maybe one of the other guys will show up with some liquor, like last night..., wait did I say that
