Local elections are the most important, as they are more likely to affect day to day life. That said, I'm not voting.

yes.

I don't really understand why someone wouldn't vote, especially for local elections.

Yes, its our right. If you don't vote, don't complain.

QFT

If you are too lazy to go off ur a$$ and pick who will lead you, dont complaint when they fvck up!!

Sorry, I'm opposed to this common statement about "right to complain" and voting. I side with george carlin on this and don't vote since it's a pointless activity akin to masturbation. I'll just paraphrase what he has said.

Where's the logic in it? If you tards go out and vote some moron into office, why am I not allowed to complain? You gave me no choice to begin with as they were all morons. Instead, remember if you vote for a guy who gets into office and does a crappy job, you are responsible for voting them in, you have no right to complain. I, on the other hand, who did not vote am not guilty of anything.

HOLY COW did I just see some logic in that post??

Oh no, that was something else.

Give up your right to vote and it becomes anarchy. Maybe that's what you want?

I love when people think they're making some huge difference by casting their vote. We all know that every aspect of the political arena is so corrupt, it wouldn't matter who we voted into office. We'd just be screwed in a different way.

We also all know that we need a strong third party, whose views lie somewhere in the middle of the two extremist parties we have today.

Yes, I voted. No it won't make a difference. And you're sadly fooling yourself if you think your vote will. You really believe that by doing the absolute minimum (casting a vote), that you're influencing the future of America. I could say to you, unless you run for office and are going to try to actively make a difference, then don't complain because all you've done is the minimum.

To P&N we go..........
