No. I am a moron.

At least once a week I try to put a full coffee pot in the cupboard. My brain confuses the signal "get coffee cup" with "put coffee pot back" and it ends badly.

I forget to get gas. I will look at my gas gauge when I get in the car, see its low and head right to the gas station. But somewhere along the lines that signal gets lost and I end up at work running on fumes.

Every time I go into the kitchen I open the fridge door. Even when I'm not hungry and even when I'm not looking for anything. I just open it, look inside, then shut it again.

I also check the knobs on the stove every time I'm by it to make sure they are turned off. Even if I haven't used the stove for days, I still do it.

I forget my own phone number and my address is stored in the darkest nether regions of my brain. It takes me a good 30 seconds to remember it.

Fence them in, and they'll figure out a way to get out. They'll figure out how to unlatch gates, they'll figure out where the fence is weakest, etc.
