I am registered to vote, and I do vote. (I voted against the current administration.)

However, Diebold is trying very hard to make sure all of our votes don't matter.

Diebold is beating a dead horse. The EC made sure of that :p

I disagree, but that's a conversation for P&N.

1 + 1 = 2, Drew.

You should have quoted my post, instead of his, then. :p

Sorry, didn't realize that the intended quote being the second in the list of quotes would make my post impossible to understand.

It didn't make it impossible. It doesn't, however, make any sense to quote a post that you're not directly responding to.

I figured people were smart enough to figure it out. I guess I give the human race too much credit?

<shrug> I found it easy to "figure out". I just disagree with your quoting method. :p

This book has a pretty good roadmap.

In a nutshell, privatize everything.

So would you say you're ok with anarchy?

I call it anarcho-capitalism.

I am a paleolibertarian.

That's almost as dangerous as authoritarian socialism, which could be the end result of a monopoly under your system.

There has never been a monopoly in the free market.

Monopoly is synonymous with government.

The free market wouldn't be able to indefinitely sustain itself. At some point someone somewhere would get an advantage and would be capable of destroying the competition and seizing power.

...if organized crime hadn't already seized a firm grip on the lawless society.
