No. Voting is nothing more than a ritual for people who want to be controlled by politicians.

and the alternative to voting for your leaders is.......

Making them all get real jobs.

But wait a second. Is a politician a 'leader?' To me a leader is someone you have faith in for guidance. A politician is someone who says: follow me and my agenda or go directly to jail. That's not guidance, that's dominance.

Yes I'm registered to vote. I might be moving my registration when I graduate from college in a little over a month.

People actually move their registration to where they go to college? I just vote absentee. I think that voting for my own community where my home is is far more important than for a town that I'll only be in for 4 years ...

You're only legally allowed to vote at your official residence. If you change your legal residence to your college address, then that's where you can vote. If you still legally live with your parents, that's where you're allowed to vote.

It does make a difference on local races. Federal is just a crock of crap.

I also agree on this point, my local mayoral election was really tight this past year & ended up being decided by under 50 votes.

The electoral college is a bloated miserable failure of democracy -if you can even call it democracy.

... what does that have to do with local races or a mayoral election?
