I don't see that happening anytime in the forseeable future, and I'm old enough now that I don't think I'd be one of the first to be drafted. The wars we are fighting now and in the future are won with technology, not with sheer numbers of poorly trained draftees.

IIRC when it comes down to draft time it doesn't matter if you have a medical condition I think they still draft you. I think probably the only thing that would stop you from being drafted is if you were a palaplegic or something like that. If you are fat, etc, I think you will still get drafted.

You have responsibilities as a citizen. If you're not willing to accept those responsibilities, then you really should not be a citizen. I don't care if it's the draft or jury duty.
