The Cayman is already lapping the Ring faster than a stock 997 so its performance won't be in question. It's the diehards that you'll have to worry about.
They bitched and moaned with the 996 switched to water-cooling. Kill the RWD Porsche altogether may send them over the edge (if the Cayenne and forthcoming Panamera hasn't already).
