Just re-read and finished:
1) Zen And The Art Of Motorcycle Maintenance by Robert Pirsig
2) Thinly disguised Metaphysics and Philosophy
3) If I'm re-reading it for about the 10th time, what do you think I think of the book.

Currently reading:
1) Tao Teh Ching by Lao Tzu
2) Zen Philosophy
3) Very good, but must be taken in small doses to allow it to sink in properly.

1) Lila by Robert Pirsig
2) A more substantial explanation of the Metaphysics of Quality which were outlined in Pirsig's other book (ZMM)
3) I've read it almost as many times as I've read ZMM. I obviously think it's good.

1) The FBI by Ronald Kessler
2) A straightforward account of The Bureau.
3) Very good in my opinion.

ZV

1) Rainbow Six by Tom Clancy
2) Fictiion
3) So far so good

I've got his newest book too, but I haven't started it, waiting to finish this one first. I got a little behind in the series a ways back.

techfuzz

1. A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry
2. Fiction (yea, its one of oprah's)
3. Seems pretty good. So far seems akin to God of Small Things in a number of ways, but I could be way off- its early.

Its a great book so far.... about 300 pgs into it

That was one of the best books I read in a long time. Got the fall of hyperion next to me now, but first I have to finish reading

1)Prey - Michael Crichton
2)SciFi
3)Damn creepy, and getting better every page.

Finishing my complete re-read of the Wheel of Time series prior to buying the new book. Almost finished the last one which is:
Heart of Winter by Robert Jordan
Fantasy
I like the series.

Astaroth33 - I was reading that series (Chtorr)a long time back but it seemed that I could never find the next book. Is the series completed now? I may have to re-read that one up to the point I stopped at as well if there are more new books. It has been so long now I forget how many books there were when I stopped but I think it was either 3 or 4.

1) Art of Deception by Kevin Mitnick
2) Er...fiction/non fiction/autobiographical/informative. 😉
3) Yes, very much so.

Nice to see more Dan Simmons fans.

Endymion by Dan Simmons
Sci-fi/fantasy
Love it, have another book in the series to read after this.

i'm reading 4 books concurrently & like all of them:

Steel my soldier's heart & About Face by David Hackworth - war history/autobiography

The years of Lyndon Johnson - Master of the senate - Robert Caro - biography

The Stand, Stephen King, Sci-Fi

The only books that I read for pleasure are non-fiction. The last one that I read was "The First Directorate" by Oleg Kalugin. I really liked it.

I don't read fiction books anymore. School killed those forever for me.

The Stand, Stephen King, Sci-Fi
One of my all time FAV. King novels!
I've read it at least twice.
I really need to find the later re-release and read that that.
Has anyone here read it? Are there many changes??

I really like Zen & the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, Lots of interesting ideas, very provacative. My copy is very dog-eared 🙂
I never did get through Lila though ... seemed very tedious after the fast pace of Zen...
Maybe I'll have another look at it.
