Because I have to take meds I dont have a snowball's chance on a hot day. However, factor that out of the picture and I still probably would not survive for too long. I will NOT eat bugs and certain animals. I will eat plants, fruits and vegatables (assuming I am lucky enough to stumble upon them), but one wrong wrong plant and its game over. :'(

Then there is the whole shelter issue, getting skins from wild animals, dealing with no youtube, etc. I mean seriously, could you really get to sleep with things crawling all over, bloodsuckers flying around to drain you dry, man eating animals, 90% humidity and no air conditioner? I couldnt. Oh yeah, did I mention disease lurking everywhere and difficulty finding water?

If I did manage to survive at least a year, the aforementioned would be enough to drive any modern man insane.

Are you man enough for 10,000 BC?

I'm legally blind, so without contacts, I'd have a hard time seeing 12" in front of me. I'd be eaten by a saber tooth tiger on the first day.

Wait, are we talking about like a TRIP to back then... that you could prepare for? Or just one day you're fucked and back in 10,000 BC.

That's right, this shit just got real

Yeah I believe technology would have to advance a few epochs for that to be possible. I wonder if breeding my own harem of wives would be frowned upon?

Depends on where I 'landed'. If natives/animals didn't kill you before you could fortify a cave or something, it would be ancient virus that the native/animals were resistant to, but you were not.

Human beings are getting less resistant to such things and its a lot to do with reliance on medicines and drugs being the crutch. Though this crutch can be virtually better than our own legs we are slowly forgetting how to walk.

Everyone voting yes would be the first people to perish, either from sheer stupidity or being a joker while being stalked and subsequently mauled and eaten by a large carnivore.

You get a knife, a roll of TP and a book of matches. You are wearing cargo pants with detachable legs, a white tee and sweat shirt. You also have a weeks worth of MREs.

And thats it.

There wouldn't be enough electronics and p0rn for me to be happy in 10,000 B.C.

Any particular time of the year/location?

I think I could survive for maybe two weeks. Not sure.

id likely live a while that way. would be a great way to get back into shape as well. i wasnt always a desk jockey, before this i had real, outside jobs that required me to lift heavy stuff regularly. also, i have done survival camping trips where i had to catch, clean and cook my own food. the hardest problem for me would be finding a suitable knife-like tool to use, unless i get to take my hunting knife with me. once you have a good tool to start with, other weapons/ tools are not too hard to devise.
