You refuse to consider that the things you see, the way you interpret them, are possibly caused by, or the cause of, some other factor that you either don't understand or simply have never been exposed to.

Best start would be to get off your ass and travel more. Meet people outside of your trapped circle of terrified American "patriots" and expose yourself to the real world for once.

This is a really fucking diverse place and no matter how much you hate that, the world has always been this way. America was an idea founded on the principle to somehow make that diversity work under one umbrella. Definitely a difficult experiment, and it's never been perfect, but we do it pretty well.
