Unless you're in the habit of sucking your hands clean after you touch something, it won't do that much.

And I'll probably get it. College kids are idiots and I want and extra line of defense against them.

there's a hand sanitizer that i used last year that isn't alcohol based that kills flu virus and h1n1. i can't remember the name of it, but it's a foaming hand sanitizer that doesn't have alcohol. i really wish i could remember what it was called... i'd like to sell to patients if i could remember.

Don't have a choice. In the Army and have three school aged kids. Army says I have to and with three school aged kids, the primary transmission source of this virus, it only makes sense (again, not that I have a choice).

I don't involve myself with needles for any reason unless there is absolutely no alternative whatsoever.

Given my age and risk group, there is insufficient reason for me to bother with a flu shot considering my (admittedly irrational) dislike of needles. As I age, that balance will eventually tip, but so far it's not even close.
