Are you excited about the nvidia 7800 release today?

Is the 7800 really bad or have I been listening to too many Xbox 360 fanboys? They all think ATI is light years ahead of Nvidia at this point because the Xenos has unified shaders. What's the difference between ATI and Nvidia these days, objectively?

I could care less. My 6800GT runs everything that is thrown at it, it won't really matter for me until a true test comes out like FEAR or Quake 4

I didn't know it was coming out since I read about this thread. Pricing and specs are over at GH if anyone is interested.

Too much money for my blood! I'm perfectly content with my 6800U. Plus, I don't have the money to jump to a PCI-E system anyway.
 
No, but I can now mark my calendar to buy one in 3 years when the price is reasonable for a piece of computer equipment.
 
i want two...

but ill get em when ATI also has theirs out and i can pick which one is better...ill also go dual core then also...right now my system is more than capable...unless anybody wants to buy it?? lol

Your 6800GT will rape Quake 4. It's just the Doom 3 engine which runs like buttah on 6800s. I have the same card.
