I can't say no to her either 😉

LMAO!!

i do work for my grandma but there is no way i'm going to charge her for the work! or immediate family for that matter

Generally, my relatives pay me for computer help (or invite me over for a meal). My grandma's friends pay about $30/hr and acquaintances pay about $50/hr

Yep. And to many associates, past and present. And to a great number of people in the community I live in. Unfortunately, quite a few have been reintroduced to the dialtone when they call for help, since I know they won't pay.

Yes, I am...

And I tell everyone in my family to buy a Dell.... Their support is excellent... 🙂

Last time I went to LA I fixed my first PC that I bought myself. I'm going back down friday. Anyone wanna guess what the odds of more PC tech work are?

Yes, but i don't try to get involved much.
If it's family i'll try my best, but others that only call me up when their computer is got issues i ignore.

Yes but I got sick of explaining defragging, cleaning out malware etc. Its mostly my uncles and cousins but its not like they want to learn anyways so I just say buy Dell too.

Not as much as I used to, I made it pretty clear that I don't want to work on computer out of work after working on them all day at work.

But for my brother and my parents I always do, just might take some time to get to them is all.

Yep. Yet another thing that keeps my phone rining. I've even spent my share of parties fixing the host's computer.
