Yes, I am completely anonymous on the Internet. If anyone ever found out anything about me I think I'd completely lose it.

I've tried to do my best not to mention the company I work for or my own name, at least not in a way that would be easily google'able (though I can't imagine it'd be that hard to find out if someone really wanted to...

Same here... tried to hide it a bit and avoid talking about exactly what I do :p.

I had no idea there was an ATOT facebook group:confused:

Yeah, I'm actually in it as well... I guess that removes that sense of anonymity :p.

I just joined so I guess I'm in it now too.

I don't really care, I've posted it a few times, but I doubt anyone keeps track.

Funny thing was a plane ticket was purchased for me recently by a company, under the name I use (Frank) as opposed to my given name (Francis). Had to call the travel people and sort that out. Wouldn't even have noticed if someone else in the group hadn't pointed it out.

It's an international ticket, didn't want the hassle of passport name =/= ticket name.

Why? What do you do that it has to be such a secret?

I know people who work in the defense industry and, by law, cannot talk about what they do (but they at least say that is the reason they cannot talk about it) - is that what you do?

There are a lot of jobs that require some matter of confidentiality, not just in the defense sector (although that certainly fits the bill). Maybe they're embarrassed by their job and don't want people to find out where they work. After all, it's hard to claim you're a multimillionaire if everyone knows you clean the grease traps at Hardee's (and I'm almost positive ATOT's ToS includes a clause about financial requirements for posting).

And to the OP, nope. I'm Sam. However, if you ever address me as anything but "Your Majesty," I will have my men hunt you down and pummel you with undercooked beets. You've been warned.
