He doesn't know what he is talking about. Bob Woodward wrote a book about it. Actually, Reid and Boehner had reached a compromise, Obama nixed it. And contrary to what Obama claimed in the debates, it was his administration that came up with whole 'fiscal cliff' idea. Following Obama's erroneous claim in the debate, Woodward then wrote an article claiming Obama was wrong.

Read my links posted above And I think I'll pass on your source. ;)

Woodward often uses unnamed sources in his reporting for the Post and in his books. Using extensive interviews with firsthand witnesses, documents, meeting notes, diaries, calendars and other documentation, Woodward attempts to construct a seamless narrative of events, most often told through the eyes of the key participants.

Oh if that's what Doc meant then why didn't he mention this book?

No, it won't happen. It's just fear mongering rubbish; not even paying attention to any of the news about it.

I think taxes should go up across the board and yet that includes me (and no i am not going to do it unless everybody else has to--that defeats the point), but I don't for a second believe they will.

I don't care if the republican go over the cliff Batter if they do Because they take care the rich more then the middle class and lower class that voted for them. Good the rich should pay higher tax then the middle class and the lower class and they pay a lower tax now is their turn to pay more tax better them then us.
