Has anyone mentioned weeping?

But like brxndxn said, thumbs just grow back. Like starfish!

He should keep the thumb so that he do that magic trick where you pull your finger off, but he'd be using his thumb and doing it for real. :) Tough guy though. That reminds of that fellow that played for the Cowboys. He hurt one of his fingers. The doctors said that if he wanted to keep it, he would have to sit on the bench for a few months letting it heal. Or they could remove it and he'd playing by the end of the week. He opted to have it removed.

Well.......I think most of you here are pretty young.
If this fellow was a carpenter for 20 odd years losing his thumb had nothing to do with the reallity of a Mortgage and maybe a couple of car payments, kidz in school etc. Losing thumb doesn't change your commitments.........
Yep, He is all man..........like any "man" Gotta keep going !
Nothing he can do about it so carry on with business........

<< My Grandpa, a farmer, lost his pinky in some machinery. I know that isn't as bad as a thumb, but he said it wasn't too bad and didn't take time off. A farmer can't really just take time off but if I lost my thumb and contruction I'd certainly take my time coming back to work! >>

No you wouldn't if you had a wife and a couple of kids to support.....Or you better not !!!!!!!!!!!
