Want to learn to be Dominant? Then start small. Anytime someone asks you want you want to eat, answer them immediately. Don’t ask them what they want, they already asked you. Just make a decision. Once you see that making that decision not hard, has little negative consequence, and is actually less of a hassle then the constant, ‘I don’t know, what do you want’ game your confidence will start to grow. Start to do that with every decision in your life. Then you are a Dominant.

doing this without taking others into consideration on occasion will make you alpha of you and your hand.

Yeah I got it now, thanks anyway :)

Thread is updating fast, less then a minute between them posting and me.

To all beta's trying to become alpha's: simply being more of an assertive asshole does not make you an alpha. It is not something you can simply become.

Of course it can be taught. Almost all human behavior can be taught. It just takes a lot of work, which most are not willing to do.

This is why you are a submissive. You are completely wrong. People respect a person that will make a decision, and confidence is an aphrodisiac.
A good Dom does take others into account when they make a decision, but ultimately does not worry to much about little decisions.

hehe im not exactly a submissive. but i do temper my decisions with others in mind for the most part. im single and raising 3 kids, they do as i say so far. i also taught them to be open voiced about things they dont agree with, and they will start a conversation if they dont agree with my decisions. it rarely changes my decisions, but they know they have the chance to try. if you try to be dominant and are selfish about it, people wont respect you, they will just stop asking you.

Omega (usually rendered ω-male) is an antonym used to refer to the lowest caste of the hierarchical society. An omega is subordinated to all others in the community. The omega is commonly the last allowed to eat.[2]

I can act like an alpha but I'm naturally a beta, mostly because I don't care about most things.

The majority of people are beta's by nature, which makes me LOL at the poll results.

Apparently some people picture themselves as alpha, but in real life are beta.

would not surprise me at all to learn that the majority of ATOT are opinionated, uncompromising assholes who shit a brick whenever they can't get their way.

I've thought about this for a good fifteen minutes, trying to figure out which I am.

I still don't know, I'd say I'm more lone wolf than alpha or beta, and when I'm in groups, I can be one or the other. I ended up voting beta, because, like others, most times I don't really care enough to assert myself. If something is going wrong on a more than trivial level, I am one of the first to say something, though.

Anyone who needs to assert publicly that they're an alpha obviously isn't one. You'll never see a true alpha wasting their breath bragging that they're an alpha.

Weak-sauce wannabes, on the other hand, never shut up about their illusionary gifts and accomplishments, especially on the internet.

The OP is fresh off spinning his yarn about an imaginary threesome at Christian Camp.

What he failed to mention is that it was all a dream-induced, involuntary nocturnal emission and that the counselors made him clean his sheets for Christ.

To atone for his sticky, sticky sin, they even made him forego the sacred sheet of Downey! :awe:

So then alkemyst is the biggest "alpha" of them all? This thread is solid gold.

If you have to think about it, you're not an alpha.

If you bother with internet polls, you're not an alpha.

If you have to constantly assert yourself, you're not an alpha.

If you even care whether or not you're an alpha, you're not an alpha.

If you ARE in fact an alpha, you are probably a gigantic asshole. But not as big an asshole as someone who is trying really, really hard to be an alpha.
