the rules state you need to play or you are out of the game
in order to play you need to post here so there can be a conversation going
if there is no conversation then the game can not moove forward
so if you talk here posting your theories is enough to consider that you play the game no casting vote necessary needed to be considered that you play
fist day i did not vote but because i was talking in here i was participating
also if your character can do night actions participation can be by only do night actions and you never talk a word
the rules are not solid so read the rules every time because the change a bit
so in the game because we know nothing we make theories
and we try to make the others to support our theories
you judge the other according what they say or in sometimes do not say their vote cast and when it is cast.
so you need to concentrate on what the others do
and later on in the game instead of suspicions there will be proofs for someone being in one or the other side
