I'm having trouble receiving email on any of my yahoo.com disposable email addresses.

I get the following error regardless of where I send an email from ...

554 delivery error: dd This user doesn't have a yahoo.com account (xxxxxxxxx@yahoo.com [-9] - mta4001.mail.ne1.yahoo.com where xxx ... @yahoo.com is my disposable email address.

Anyone else having this issue where you get errors sending emails to your disposable email addresses?
I've received no emails on any of my disposable email addresses since this afternoon.

Many thanks!

This is interesting. I replied to someone who sent me a message from a yahoo address and my reply was treated the same way. Yahoo has always had all sorts of issues, so I didn't pay much attention to it, but it seems like it's a bigger problem.

Sadly, it's still broken for me ... and I see on some forums they're still having issues ... I'm shocked that yahoo would apply a fix without adequate testing relating to this issue and impact likely thousands of people using this feature.

This problem has been going on for a client of mine since around 2:00 PM pacific time yesterday (July 23, 2019) and continues to now. She has a number of disposable email addresses, none of which have received any mail since yesterday afternoon. The master account works and is able to send and receive email.

And while Yahoo is free for many people, it really isn't for my client. In fact, I don't think free accounts are able to have disposable e-mail accounts. The reason I say it's not free, is AT&T subcontracts to Yahoo as their email service provider, so you are paying for it as part of the service AT&T provides when they are your broadband company.

UPDATE. Some email (maybe all) are now coming through to some (maybe all) the disposable accounts. She has a lot, so it's hard to confirm it's totally resolved. What is clear is that any email sent when it was not working (from early yesterday afternoon to mid this morning) are lost. There was not a flood of missing emails, including test ones I sent.

I did log into the master account and send test email to one of the disposable addresses. It was rejected. Soon after that, some email started coming in. So, I don't know if the action of logging in and sending an email to herself was a factor in the resolution, or Yahoo just fixed it on its own.

Free accounts are allowed disposable email addresses.
Yes indeed, it started working again around the time I saw your post. Thanks!

You will need to change your email. This is something that happens when you are making too many accounts on the same email. Whenever you register, you agree that you will get some information about what is new on the website. I name these emails spam emails. You can read on folderly.com how you can get rid of them, but in my opinion, the easiest solution is to make a new email account. So now you will have an email for registering on different websites and an email for sending personal emails and everything related to work.
