Lots of nerdy, dorky, fat guys in my office. There's maybe a couple who aren't married. So I guess it doesn't matter that much. You don't have to look like a J. Crew model to get a date, if that's what you're asking.

i only know from experience. woman always say they want a guy that treats them right and all that stuff but they forget to mention that he has to look like the guys described above also.

Geeks usually aren't as self centered. They're a bit more attentive since they don't have girls hanging off them constantly.

Some geeks are just plain jerks, though.

It's really a matter of if you prefer looks over personality. Not saying that hunks don't have personalities, but I've never met one with a GOOD personality.

heh, that reminds me of what the singer from my friend's band said. she said she was with this macho military dude (wanna say marine but i'm not sure) one time and she ended up showering with him. she said he was really, really, really small in one partcular area.

dont know if i can agree with that as a blanket statement. i guess it would depend on the woman. I personally like natural looking guys who take care of themselves over pretty boys.

Dont get me wrong... there has to be some physical attraction there... i could never envision myself being with someone and looking up at his face and thinking... 'well, at least he is a nice guy'... there has to be an attraction. but it doesnt always come from perfect looks.

Some women want the looks. and some guys want girls who want looks.

but for me... i would prefer the blue collar guy at the end of the bar who is enjoying a beer and not looking to score.
