But most girls do prefer the hunkier guys. I mean they can be kinda nice to look at, but I could never see myself dating or doing it with them.

heh, that reminds me of what the singer from my friend's band said. she said she was with this macho military dude (wanna say marine but i'm not sure) one time and she ended up showering with him. she said he was really, really, really small in one partcular area.

So she didn't notice until she actually saw it?

My ex preferred thin, geeky types. That's why she liked me I suppose.

Why would she like geeks instead of hunks?

Geeks usually aren't as self centered. They're a bit more attentive since they don't have girls hanging off them constantly.

Some geeks are just plain jerks, though.

It's really a matter of if you prefer looks over personality. Not saying that hunks don't have personalities, but I've never met one with a GOOD personality.
Yeah, but I mean she actually preferred the LOOKS of a geek. I mean, is she a woman? Then why wouldn't she want the muscle. That's like me saying I prefer girls with flat chests.

attracted to them, sure. but getting them in the sac and/or dating them is still mostly mental.

How are muscles comparable to breasts? I hate really ripped guys. I don't want a guy who's constantly worrying about how his biceps look. I prefer the look of geeks also. There's just something about tall skinny kinda awkward guys, or tall chubby guys that makes me smile :p. Now short fat guys with tons of pimples and glasses (movie geek)...that's a different story.

For some reason I clicked on that link. It must have been out of reflex b/c I generally don't click on links labelled 'hunks.'

I'd far rather be the Dan Brown "attractive-yet-overwhelmingly-intelligent man" archetype rather than the political cartoon "fat, long-haired-yet-overwhelmingly-intelligent man" computer geek stereotype than I am.

Two persons with identical personalities. One is a hunk and one is a geek. I am pretty sure the hunk will win.

Hell if I have to decide between Brad Pitt or Screech, it would be a no brainer.

Most women wouldn't think they'll end up with one of these guys. In fact they'll want to marry someone who is a good provider and not into themselves. But they sure won't mind jumping in the sack with as many of these guys as possible before finally marrying a "good" guy. Comforting thought, huh?

Screech had that obnoxious voice that made you want to punch him in the face, though.

And Brad Pitt is old. Ew.

you still can be good looking without all the babes hanging all over you...some guys with the looks also have the brains to go with them. Men have morals to and arent all in the game to just get a girl in the sac

Women tell themselves, and others, pretty much anyone who'll listen to their incessant babbling, a large number of different things about what attracts them. In the end though it's generally high school dropouts with criminal histories.

You mean they are not obviously looking to score. Unless they're on some kinda medication, they really are thinking about it at some level.

Well? Are today's women attracted to the hunk image or does looks even matter? Is the geek look ever in with the ladies as well?

Lots of nerdy, dorky, fat guys in my office. There's maybe a couple who aren't married. So I guess it doesn't matter that much. You don't have to look like a J. Crew model to get a date, if that's what you're asking.

i beg to differ on that
thats the only way you get a date. either that or look like the guys in the OPs pic.
i only know from experience. woman always say they want a guy that treats them right and all that stuff but they forget to mention that he has to look like the guys described above also.

Hey, I only have my personal experience to go on. I don't look anything like a J. Crew model, but I still managed to get dates. Of course, if I was getting dates now, my wife would be pissed.

She looks a little like the blonde bookstore girl on "40 Year Old Virgin."
