OMG you fighting whiteys are killing me from laughter! wheeee!

"Waaah waaah, life is so hard for us white christians. We only dominate the government, major corporate businesses, the upper income class, etc."

"Waaah waaah, minorities can get into college easier White people only make up about 85% of the colleges. See! Discrimination! Minorities are just dumb and lazy, not like us white people"

I never received anything over the "normal" fafsa and I graduated high school with a 4.2gpa. Also, while I was in college I maintained a 4.0 all four years and only received a $250 in two semesters and that was it.

I am not sure if white males are discriminated against the most in all realms of work or society, but I do believe it varies tremendously. An example of this is being a white male and attempting to become a medical doctor. Over the past 10yrs. it has become much harder for the white male to be accepted to a medical school compared to the admission of minorities. This is a well know fact and many journals have stated this over the years. This is particularly upsetting to me as I am hoping to one day become a physician.

Personally I dislike more White people than any other race. Then there's Albinos! What's with those glow in the dark Mofo's?[/quote]

Same here, but only because I know more white people than any other race.

Anyway. It's a double standard, it's not going away until "entitlementism" and "antiaccountibility" go away.

Pretend this is a black woman speaking.

I worked really hard to get into a good college, despite people telling me I couldn't with my educational background. I did really well, graduated from high school two years early and went into community college. I figured that with my gpa and my proven academic ability, it wouldn't be too hard to find scholarships so I could afford the remaining two years of college it would take me to get my double major in English and Communications. My parents' business failed, moreover, and they had to sell their house to meet their debt, moving from California to Arkansas to start over with nothing, still with three children to pay for. That should have qualified me for the financial need portions of scholarships. What I found was that there were lots of scholarships out there for English majors, of course. But, they were only for white English majors.

Now take that scenario and make the speaker white and the offered scholarships all for Hispanic English majors. That's my college experience. I'm graduating, and no, I never recieved a single scholarship, despite graduating with a 3.83 at age 19 and with a double major. I couldn't get any more financial aid than the standard FAFSA either.

There's nothing wrong with that... those people who are offering the scholarship are from the Hispanic community. They're not discriminating against white people... they're not saying white people aren't good enough for the scholarship. They're just saying that the people who put those money together, would like to see others in their community go to college, so they put the scholarship together for them.

Out of all the English scholarships out there... who do you think is more likely to get it? Those who were born and raised in a white family, or hispanics who are 1st or 2nd generation? They know that hispanics will have a hard time competing with other people to get those scholarships, so they made their OWN scholarships for them. That's not discrimination.

I don't think religion has anything to do with it, but I would agree that white males are quite discriminated against --worse than the other minorities.

Wow, so a program trying to bring about that equality is discrimination? Wow.

We should just get rid of all social program that help minorities, because thats true equality huh? Same exact standards for everybody regardless of color! Woo! Of course it helps that whites are already on top, and that minorities are going to suffer under such conditions... but hey, thats equality I tell you!

Come on, you guys really can't be that oblivious to think that white male sare THE most discriminated against now? It's true, there are some instances of discrimination, but do you really believe they are THE MOST discriminated against?

How come if a minority says the same thing, it's a legit complaint, but if a white guy says it, it's "white supremacy"?

Quit it with the double standards.
