Are we getting an Anandtech iPhone 8 review?

Maybe they will do an iPhone x/8 combined review?
It would kinda make sense to do the whole range at the same time.

Also benchmarks seem a bit pointless for the iPhone 8, its going to be able to run everything you can throw at it with no problems!

That's like saying reviewing Zen processors is pointless because it'll run everything you can throw at it with no problems.

Bump. Now I'm wondering if we'll get an X review.

It's kind of strange to me that Anandtech won't review the most popular tech product in the world? Seems like a bad business decision.

They take their time. When it comes out it will probably be 50 pages. And that's just on the SoC.

It's not my money but I feel like by the time the review comes out, no one will really care.

If they're really writing 50 pages and take months to review something, then it's just bad business. If I'm running Anandtech, I would tell the reviewer to release the review chunks at a home such as:

Day 2: SOC review
Day 4: Camera review
Day 6: Display review

Day 30: Combined full review

So far 'm really mpressed w th my w f's Phone 8 plus. A b t ron c that t's called an Phone yet can't type the letter w t t.

Other than that and the fact t won't connect to Bluetooth n her car... well, do like the camera.

😀

Good thing you aren't running AT then, because the reputation was built on very detailed reviews that have always taken time to finish. It certainly wasn't built on spitting out reviews on release day like everyone else.

That reputation has slipped long ago. I havent looked forward to an AT review in quite some time.

If you want to buy iPhone 8 friend than its better to buy iPhone X because what I hear iPhone 8 has a battery issue just like the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. However, in Note 7 the battery explodes but in iPhone 8 battery on overcharging quickly drains and doesn't give the promised backup.
where did you hear this? I haven't heard of any battery issues with the latest gen of iPhones.

It's been 2 months since the iPhone 8 was released. I can't be the only one to feel that it's poor business practice to delay reviewing the most popular product on the planet?

Not detailed enough that only Anandtech does.
And yet they don;t have one. At this point anyone who was interested in the iphone 8 already knows all that there is to know. Having a review now would be stupid and a waste of resources.

iPhone X it not that old. It would be stupid and a waste of resources to make separate reviews for iPhone 8 and iPhone X. I still hope a combined review will be up soon.

Because by releasing one review, and then the other, they wouldn't get additional views or make any additional revenue. Better to just not release a review at all.

iPhone 8 and X shares the same hardware in many terms so it will take less time to make only one combined review. It is not to late yet.
