There are jobs that only immigrant workers will do. For that they should get guest worker visas. Any Employer who knowingly hires illegals should be fined and/or incarcerated.

But I have a problem with any "study" that bills us as "natives". Almost all of us are immigrants at some point, most of us pretty recently.

Also, of course illegal immigration costs money. But what about the economic benefits? Any data on that? I'm not being accusatory here, just wondering because I haven't made a huge study of this. Perhaps I spoke too soon before, but some more data would help.

So how would the US realistically stop a good portion of illegal immigration? Build a gigantic wall on the southern border?

I would like for illegal immigration to be stopped, but increase legal immigration to compensate as well as guest worker passes or whatever to start up.

Legal Immigrants VS Illegal Immigrants. Two COMPLETELY different things. My Grandparents were LEGAL immigrats, and im willing to bet your family was LEGAL as well.

I personally have never seen an actual study showing benifits from massive ILLEGAL immigration. Studies that show benifits never differentiate between LEGAL and ILLEGAL, so you cant draw any conclusions. People always say, "They do Jobs others wont" or "They keep prices low" but thats just unsubstanciated mumbo jumbo fed to us by both political parties.

Democrats want illegal immigration to continue because they need "Need". It helps them advance their agenda of socialism.

Republicans want illegal immigration to continue because it keeps corporate profits high and wall street happy. WalMart employs massive number of Illegal immigrants in this country.

I agree. LEGAL immigration is benificial to this country, illegal immigration is not.

National Guard/Military patrolling our Borders.
Massive Fines for buisnesses who employ illegal immigrants.
No public funding of any kinds for illegal immigrants(Healthcare, schooling, etc...)
Children born by two illegal immigrants on US soil should not be considered a citizen of this country.

I guess you can say that we are outsourcing within the US. If you think about it, many software companies are outsourcing jobs to India because it will cost them about 12 dollars an hour per programmer employee, where as in American the standard is about 50 dollars and hour. Similarly, why would an employer hire someone who is going to expect 10 dollars and hour to clean restrooms when they can find someone who is willing to do it for about 6 an hour?
