The US does'nt need felons from the get go. Anyone who crosses is breaking the law instead of going though legal channels. How much more are they going to break the law once they get here?. To reward illegal aliens for lawbreaking is also an open invitation to the world to immigrate to this country.

Meh USA is going to a banana republic anyway being the world largest debtor, losing it's industrial base, and it's money is practicaly in free fall so they should feel at home.

What needs to be done to stop the illegal invasion:

National Guard/Military patrolling our Borders.
Massive Fines for buisnesses who employ illegal immigrants.
No public funding of any kinds for illegal immigrants(Healthcare, schooling, etc...)
Children born by two illegal immigrants on US soil should not be considered a citizen of this country.

Thats a start.

It would probably be much cheaper to just dig a mile wide ditch between mexico and the US, and drop barbed wire and plant land mines thruout it

BS it would mean atually investigating a call someone makes the DHS, it would mean actually fining employers for hiring illegals.

Right now there is no enforcement, just govt workers suckig the tax payer teat. If you doubt me call DHS and if you're not hung up on first wait and see them never come out for your call. Hire some illegals to, they'll give you Fake SS #'s, then I9 is never sent in for investigatio nor prosecuted.

And you don't think the cost of maintaining a constant patrol of the borders would be high as well? I'm all in favor of the last 2 things on your list though.

We dont need to deport anyone. What needs to happen is the incentive for them to stay has to be gone via the methods I stated above. Then they willleave on their own accord. The fact of the matter is though, the government doesnt enforce immigration laws whatsoever.

Please we don't need "border patrol" that's just another governemnt welfare program. You think Austria has it? or any other country? They don't need it cause they hit the problem on the back end. Want to go to school? bettter be a citizen of legal immigrant. Want a job? Better be a citizen of legal immigrant. Etc.

Yes it would be better if you did'nt have 20-30 families controlling all of mexicos great wealth, all spanish, no indians. Instead of a revolution they take the easy road to redistributionist America. Meh. I don't mind in so far as blaming them, after all it was thiers in the first place and I would be the first accross border for better opportunity. However we seriously need to correct Mexicos lack of opportunity and robber barren era which is so 19th century.
