The thing that irks me is, aren't Nvidia and AMD supposed to certify these AIBs' graphics cards for reliability and a good enough cooling solution that prevents the fans from sounding like a scary loud jet engine? Even the XFX RX 580 I had wasn't as loud in normal use as the newer GPUs I have now (3090 and RX 6800).
What the heck went wrong with this industry? When did it become acceptable to sell super expensive noise pollution devices to consumers? Why should I as a GPU user have to mess with fan profiles or undervolting to experience a relatively quiet gaming experience?
Are you running with no frame cap or something? Not sure what model cards you have specifically, but if you are running with vsync on, they should not be overly loud as their power draw goes down significantly. Also, the AMD control panel has one button undervolting, and you can use Radeon Chill to reduce power usage more.
