It's happening here in the US and will only get worse as they get more and more emboldened. Just when I think I have too much ammunition, seeing something like the UK and how it can and likely will happen here makes me realize I don't have enough.

In a large riot situation, I'm not sure a firearm is going to help much. The crowd mentality will be similar to a zombie swarm. While you might kill a few, if their numbers are large enough, they will get you, get your gun, and tear you apart.

I carry every single day.

Yep, an armed individual would be a trivial target for even a mob of modest means/intelligence. After they realize that attacking you in single file is not working, they would fan out and start to encircle you, then you're jolly well fucked.

That's why you band together with a few friends/family/neighbors and take elevated and covered positions with a variety of weapons (rifles for long range, ARs for medium, and shotguns for close in)

The mob might decide to head elsewhere after a few people's heads explode.
