Lol. No- you're only allowed in if your girlfriend is there at the door. I have seen guys drop $300-$400 to "bypass" the rule at a pleasurezone party though. (pleasurezonesf.com.)

you guys sure no how to bring a guy down, don't ya? lol

Our neighbors had a swing party the weekend we moved into our house. That was 6 years ago and they haven't had one since.

They are creepy though.

shrug i see nothing wrong with it as LONG as both people are 100% ok with it. I know one women who wants to join me and my wife (mainly for my wife) but my wife won't go for it. heh

oh and my wife's good friend works at a swingers club in town.

I think this begs a second question- let's say everyone's ok with it. How would you feel if your wife was intimate with the other man? truly ok with it?

yes i would be ok with it. Its just sex. If she wanted to have sex with another guy etc yes i would be fine.

Shens. Once they started getting it on I think you would be singing a different tune.

We would need pics of you before we could make that call. I'm going with no though just because this is ATOT and you average 25 posts per day here.

As long as people are safe and consensual, what they do in their bedrooms is up to them. I personally am a one-woman + one-man type of guy.

They would just ask and didn't pester you if you weren't interested. They were also a really good looking couple. I would have been all over the wife if she wanted to do a threesome with my girlfriend and I.
ask?

I never asked because my ex-girlfriend would never have gone for it.

In theory, it sounds fun as hell.
In real life, i'd pass.

I was approached by the ex's friends when the three of us were out. She was average looking, but that stuff would kill a relationship imo.

Been there, done that! When I was younger and stupider

No matter how consensual it is, or how OK with it everybody is with it, it never works out that way. Almost always ends in broken marriages/relationships and destroying long time friendships.

Definately exciting and can lead to some OMG sex, but definately not worth it IMHO

It all depends on the people involved. Lots of people do it and end up just fine, or stronger.

it all depends on the mindset, as well as how well you know the other people...

if these are life long friends with a history, then all members must be open minded and strong in their self esteem, otherwise emotions will take hold and start a destructive force,

if they are more of a stranger (you meet that night, talk a bit, drink and feel okay with it, it would be less invading than with others that you are close with)

i have brought it up...wife is very interested just in a threesome, but thinks it will hurt our relationship.

I don't think they do it so often as to qualify for an actual "swingers" label but they do it now and again. It seems like this kind of thing has become more acceptable by the year in California.

What's your opinion?

I have no problem with it so long as both people are into it. The only time I have an issue with it is when I see the husband / BF putting pressure on the wife / GF. I have seen this many times in the past and it really bugs the crap out of me.

I love women, and can get all into them, but not when they feel pressured to be with another woman or man.

Most real swingers are very picky about who they swing with. If you go to a swingers bar here in Houston, especially the old establishments that have been here forever, they don't allow men to come in by themselves and just hang out with the couples. On certain nights the single guys can stay up at the bar only. The couples are put together at tables with other couples.

Things can get pretty wild at the swingers bars, wilder than and crazier than going to a topless bar hands down! But most of the folks who go there usually know one another.

every swinger bar is different
some skankier than others
some classier
just depends on where you go
some people are creepier than others
some more clickish
people are people
you just can't generalize or stereotype just because they are swingers

No problem with it either.
If they let single guys in a swingers party, it would be one big sausagefest.

Yeah, I think then it would rapidly turn from a swinger's party to a gangbang.

 Best kind of party :D

Just ask my wife and as long as you bring a polish sausage and not a cocktail sausage.

When I picture swingers, I picture Steve Martin and Dan Akroyd doing that "We're hot guys looking for the American foxes!" bit :)

Agreed, have known people that have tried it, liked it at first, things went downhill later.

For those of you, that *think* it would be a good time, you've probably never done it. It's easy to say, you'd be ok with it. For some, maybe you really can pull it off, and you and your SO would be fine, more power to you. For the majority of people, it just doesn't work like that. Depends on the people for sure. Not for everyone.
