LOL, yeah, sure buddy. The only one that believes that is you, which really doesn't matter.

You fix other peoples posts to suit yourself then you falsley claim you speak for everyone, oh king of the bloated forum troll egos. You speak only for your own sorry little fat troll self. Woah be to the one who dares question or disagree with JerkButton. And I'm sure you get a sad and pathetic little troll LOL every time you put someone down who disagrees with you. You are best left ignored by everyone here, and that's how you will be by me from now on. You are about as nice and helpful around here as Ebola.
Oh my God, you just made my day. :) See ya troll.

You are such a thread squatter. You are determined to spread your legend killer FUD in every thread you travel too, huh?

And yea, I have. Have you with your rose colored sunglasses off? :p

lol, you are quoting a post from over a year old?

i spent about 8 months reviewing, viewing and comparing LCDs and plasmas and there is no comparison between current LCDs and plasmas in terms of PQ, black levels and viewing angle.

Who cares if my plasma will become half as bright over time... The advertised half-life is over 100,000 hours before the thing is half as bright. Let's say that is overstated and it is half as bright after 50,000 hours... That means I can have the TV on 8 hours a day for 17 years before it is half as bright. 34 years if you believe the 100,000 hour number.

Quit your LCD trolling, it is obvious you are spewing a bunch of fanboy FUD.

The Pioneer KUROs have been rated by many magazines/sites/groups as hands down the best flat panel ever made.

I noticed the post was old when I posted it, so what? This poster thinks he is a financial genius and is posting his FUD in other threads about the bailout, because it effects him personally. Otherwise, I wouldn't have commented on this post at all.

Are you JerkButton's alter ego since he followed a post right behind you? I thought it wasn't allowed to have 2 accounts on here? Oh, right, JerkButton claims to speak for EVERYONE here, I nearly forgot that part, now I get it! :p

And BTW, since it bothers you so much, I didn't resurrect this dead thread, either.

Anandtech "Audio/Video & Home Theater" is a good discussion board for general questions, but if you want the nitty gritty details check out avsforum. I promise you'll get more information that you could possibly want. ;)

Plagues like yours are hard to ignore. But some people like that kind of thing. Shouldn't you be on Craig's list flaunting your diseased charms to some hairy shemale?

Or do you just prefer to hang out here and try to pick up all these lonely 20-40 year old male virgin tech heads who are afraid to leave the PC alone, instead? But I got to admit, all this heavy forum tension you are creating is really getting me horny, Jack. Ebola or not.

If you walk into the kitchen to make a sammich and the angle is then poor, are you making a sammich or seriously watching the HDTV? Kinda hard to do both, or you may sammich your hand. Most people who are seriously watching a movie or playing a game aren't sitting sideways relative to the screen. So this whole angle thing seems pretty silly unless your room is so large you need a projector in it anyhow.

I find with LCDs any degree off dead center results in loss of contrast. Anything more than 20 degrees (horizontally) is a substantial downgrade and it's even worse vertically.

I've got a sectional couch that makes an "L" shape. Part of it is in front of the TV, the return goes along the wall and runs perpendicular to the TV. Opposite of the return is a second couch that also runs perpendicular to the TV.

When I have more than two people watching a movie or playing games, then somebody has to sit off center. Sometimes when relaxing I like to take the corner of the sectional and stretch out. Any seating position off of the two most centered cushions takes a hit in contrast and starts getting blury on the LCD. The previous Plasma did not exhibit this behavior. The depth of the room is only 12' between the sectional and the TV, and I'm working with about 14' of width in the area. Not huge by any means.

And by all means, if you want to continue to make yourself look stupid, I'd advised you to keep posting more of your childish tirades. I'm sure people will start taking you seriously then. :)

Seriously? Let me clue you in BlahBlahEmo. My age and even my opinion don't matter a hill of beans around these red neck tech hick parts. And I will happily defend my opinions against arrogant, immature, EMO forum trolling morons who claim I have no right to express my views here and everyone should ignore me, such as your flaming childish self and JackoffBurton.

You obviously just want to start something EMO and join in a flame fest by smarting off about me, and honestly anyone will do in a sad and pathetic EMO attempt to feel superior. Just like you are presently doing in this thread 21 year old virgin

I don't want to derail this thread but those events happened when I studied abroad in college.

aren't you nearly 40 years old and still alone? worry about yourself and not try to put others down to make yourself better like a 16 year old

bwahahah, sure Kim.
these happened when you were in NYC earlier this year (could not even score an asian chick in a city full of asians), and now in the DC area.
do you think we're that stupid? just look at the timestamps on the threads.

lets see how long you can keep these lies going.

And:

haha wow
it happened before all of that, idiot.

10/22/07 - asking if anyone's had more fun after college, because obviously his college years were the best times of his life and it would be hard to top

or will I forever kick myself in the ass for not taking advantage of all the opportunities that college offered and taking the time to go wild

the past is past, I'm trying to look ahead but is it really all downhill from here?

1/28/08 - asking for help to meet new girls in nyc after being there for 3 weeks

where do I start?
I've been in NYC for about 3 weeks now and I haven't had much luck meeting people
I find that everyone is busy and has their own life... not like in college.
I haven't started a full time job yet so there are no happy hours with co-workers.
I'm currently enrolled in two classes at night time and the opportunity here seems dismal.

7/25/07 - having trouble keeping girls interested cuz he's a loner

I have a hard time becoming friends with girls. Maybe it's inexperience that causes me to be uncomfortable.
Here's how it usually goes down:

I meet a girl and I can get them interested from the beginning. I don't have to try too hard to feel like they already like me. After that, I don't do much initiating and I don't show them attention. I'm not trying to play a game here, it's just my personality (or my inexperience). This usually works in the beginning and the girls like me more since I don't give them attention but it fizzles down very quickly. Then when it is too late, I regret it. These days, I have been trying to show them more attention but I get tired of feeling like I'm doing all the work so I resort back to my original self. How do I strike the right balance? I'm so bad at this "chasing girls" game. Is it wrong to think that I'm just not a chaser type?

on a side note, I have a hard time getting close to people because I'm avoidant and the loner type, I wish I can change that

5/5/08 - i see you've become a huge social butterfly after almost a year

I consider myself a decent 1-to-1 conversationalist but I really had nothing to talk about with her.
It didn't help that we're both on the quiet side and neither of us have much dating experience. It wasn't that I was uncomfortable with the silence but it has not happened to me in a while...
It felt like a long drawn out dinner that lasted two hours because the food took so long to come out. So we just ate and didn't really talk that much. We did exchange numbers at the end and she sent me a text thanking me for the dinner and good time... I laughed to myself since I didn't think I showed her a good time at all. But I think she just said it since I paid a lot for the meals. (I don't go on dates much so I spent more than avg.)

6/1/08 - he apparently doesn't have any luck with guy friends as well - a recurring theme of his is worrying about whether the girl cares whether he has friends or not; more evidence of being a "loner"

I moved around a lot growing up... in high school I was the only minority and didn't mesh well so this is when I started to become more of a "loner".
In college, I met people since there was lot more diversity but I don't tend to get close to people. Don't get me wrong, I know people... I try to go out and do social things but I find myself spending a lot of time by myself... it's what I'm used to and goes back to my experiences back in h.s. Now that I'm working and in the real world, it's not that easy to make friends. I don't care if someone is a socialite or not but social status does seem to matter in the long run.. what do you guys think?

so apparently you were a huge mack daddy in college, got laid every week by different girl, and then you lost your mojo after you graduated.

sorry, the timeline got confusing. can you clarify as to when you lost your virginity again? was it before you missed the wild "opportunities" in college, or after you couldn't keep a conversation going on your date?

added quotes in case he tries to go back and edit them.

Good freaking grief, dude, are you anal a lot like this, or what ?????

And lastly, you show what a real forum charmer you are with:

ya know, he brought it upon himself.
he came into this thread and just started making personal attacks as if he had any business saying anything.
he's done it a few times in my threads as well.

Uh huh. Just like you do when you hop in other threads to be all EMO and desperately try to feel superior. And those were only YOUR MOST RECENT POSTS. Have I made my point yet about little old EMO you, you think? :p

And I will be happy to respond to and engage the wart covered, fat, ugly EMO forum trolls in their delusional quest for tech forum superiority.

And it is clearly obvious some EMO trolls around here just get crazy rabid and start foaming at the mouth and pointing fingers over Monster cables, LCD versus Plasma, HD-DVD versus Blu-ray, Ford versus Chevy, or Republikrat versus Demokrat. Thank gawd there is a choice in the first place or we would all be even more screwed. Who the hell really cares what someone else likes especially to the extreme point of criticizing them for it constantly in other unrelated posts they make from that point on. Which is EXACTLY what some of you disturbed EMO petty forum trolls do. It's not funny, it's pathetic, and the jokes on you, not me or anyone else you recklessly target anonymously.

But unfortunately your sense of humor and what's really funny is so totally broken you are far beyond seeing that yourself. You are about as humorous as laughing out loud and pointing at some cripple in public just to embarrass them and feel superior. But never fear, your constant negative EMO karma will finally get its vengeance on you and other hateful EMOs one day, and the balance of nature will equalize itself again. And working as a firefighter and EMS I see karma get its revenge on EMOs on a constant basis. And I have a funny EMO feeling that some of you EMOs out there right now might just be reason for the next 911 phone call I have to respond to.
