Are pickles good for you?

Well are they?

Edit: just to clarify, im talking about eating a whole pickle, not just the small slices on a burger or what not.

They're not bad for you, but they're not that good. Pickles don't have that much nutritional value. So, you could say they're good for you since they don't contain a lot of calories/fat/carbs and yet are filling.

Low in fat and calories, but full of sodium. They are a great snack between meals, but just eat one.

Good snack, but high in sodium, so you better eat it before you work out. to sweat it out.

I wouldn't say they're good for you. All the nutritional value pickles once had as cucumbers is no longer there. If I had to choose between one or the other, I would lean more towards bad because of the high sodium content.

But then again, doesn't everything we eat cause cancer according to "research" some time down the line? :p

Basically it's the sodium in pickles that is bad for you. Like everyone says just limit how many you eat.
