No, it's the crap ass education systems in Asia.
Also, there are more students in Asia care about getting good grades than in the US.

Wow!

On the topic of suicide, my secretary just told me she needs a leave of absence.

Her father in law just committed suicide last night. He was not Asian but Canadian. No one saw it coming either.

The stress I lived with back in Tokyo was horrible when it comes to school. You only had a day of vacation, then hard hard work after that. Couple that with the environment itself and it makes up a not-so-good ratio of teens who committed suicide and those who didn't.
